About

Welcome to Remarkable Prospects

I’m Natalie Bent— mum to five incredible children aged 17, 15, 9, 7 and 2 years — and the founder of Remarkable Prospects. My journey as a parent for over 16 years, combined with more than 26 years working with children in various professional roles, has given me a unique perspective on parenting, education, and child development.

I’ve worked as a:

  • Special Needs Teaching Assistant & Teaching Assistant

  • Youth Worker & Playworker

  • Youth Probation Worker & Young Persons Employment Coach

  • Behaviour Support Specialist for children at risk of exclusion

  • Trainer and co-facilitator for staff and parents on positive parenting and managing challenging behaviour

I also hold a degree in Childhood and Youth Behavioural Studies, which underpins the practical experience I bring to families and schools.

My Philosophy

I believe every child has incredible potential, and my mission is to help families and schools create the conditions for that potential to flourish. In our fast-paced, anxiety-driven world, children need spaces where they can truly see their growth — “MARKS” that celebrate progress, release dopamine, and encourage lasting confidence and wellbeing.

I am deeply passionate about children and often find myself being a source of guidance for those around me — sharing tools, strategies, and approaches to help children thrive from deep within.

How I Support Families

At Remarkable Prospects, my services are designed for parents who need real, human support:

  • Advocacy for your child in school situations, helping navigate challenges as though your child were my own

  • Guidance to help you understand and use tools independently

  • Support during moments of crisis and practical, positive solutions for your family

I combine empathy with expertise to empower parents and children, helping families feel confident and capable in managing the everyday and extraordinary challenges of parenting

How I Support Schools

I understand the pressures schools face with budget cuts and rising expectations. I work with schools to:

  • Engage effectively with parents who are difficult to reach

  • Address challenging behaviour and inclusion issues

  • Support schools in creating inclusive environments and tackling race-related challenges

  • Provide training and advice for staff on positive strategies for children at risk of exclusion

This service ensures that schools can improve communication, build stronger relationships with families, and foster a nurturing environment for all students.
